Dark Or Light Pool Liner

A dark pool liner may convey or give the feeling of deeper water as in a lake or ocean. It does add some some sparkle life depth compared to the lighter liner.

When the finish is a blue white or gray it will be a true blue. If the finish is tan green or black those colors will tint the water so that it appears more green or aqua. Darker liners will also make it more difficult to see debris and dirt in your pool. One final note on black liners is something that a pool owner might not think of.

Now one other thing to consider is how the bottom of a pool shows dirt. A light pool liner is going to give a light airy feel kind of like a beach or tropical vibe. Compared to the light pool liner we like the darker liner for several reasons. If there is a concern people sometimes have with dark color liners it s that they can t see the bottom.

If they are dark enough and large enough they may show through the somewhat opaque pool liner and appear as a stain. Deep blue a darker liner is more likely to absorb sunlight and therefore can help to warm your pool water. The three most common pool plaster colors are gray tan and white. Some stains are actually behind the liner in between the wall or floor and the liner.

A black colored pool liner can make seeing the bottom of the pool difficult and associate greater depth. Most pools will not notice a difference in temperature between a black liner and a dark blue liner. Gray produces a dark blue water color in sunlight sandy or tan makes for a mild green color and white produces clear light blues. But as liners become darker they are more inclined to fade over time due to uv damage and chlorine.

Dark colored liners on the other hand can give your pool a rich bold look and make your pool seem deeper.
